According to the oxford dictionary, empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Whoopee!!!! Kids are just experts in this act. You may ask how? How about when you hear incessant questions like:
Does it hurt?
How bad does it hurt?
Do you feel pain?
Would the pains go away?
When will the pains go away?
Can you take a bath with that pain in your hand?
Where else do you feel the pain?
How did it happen?
Etc.
These questions might just drive any human who’s actually in pain crazy! However, stop! Pause!! That child is only trying to relieve you of so much anxiety and anxiousness.
So, enjoy every empathic act while you can get it from them, and don’t be driven to the craze by too many questions!!!
